 L.G. Wise was born in Belhaven, North Carolina. However, he spent most of    
 his life in Brooklyn, N.Y. His mother gave birth to him at the young age of  
 14, and his father (a married man) left them after L.G. Wise celebrated his  
 second birthday. With only a sixth grade education and a two-year-old to     
 support, his mother turned to illegal activities to make life a little       
 "easier."                                                                    
 After months of frustration, she was still unable to care for her young      
 child. L.G. Wise's grandmother stepped in and raised him along with her      
 children and other grandchildren. Feeling rejected by his mother and         
 father, L.G. turned to the streets for parental figures. He was accepted by  
 a notorious drug family, which included Christopher Wallace who went on to   
 become known as the Notorious B.I.G. This drug family became his "mother     
 and father".                                                                 
 By age 11, L.G. Wise was already carrying guns and transporting crack        
 cocaine and marijuana from Brooklyn, NY to North Carolina. At the age of     
 18, after many juvenile offenses, he was facing 25 years to life at Riker's  
 Island Penitentiary for various crimes. It was at his lowest point in life   
 that L.G. Wise cried out to God from a cell block at Riker's Island. His     
 prayer was, "God, if you get me out of this situation, I will do what you    
 want me to do, say what you want me to say, and go where you want me to      
 go." God was faithful to answer the prayer of this inmate, and standing      
 before a judge, L.G. Wise was granted time served and was free to go.        
 In 1992, L.G. Wise moved to Florida to escape the negative influences in     
 his life. In Florida, he soon met and married his wife who encouraged him    
 to help others. L.G. Wise is now a rap artist and motivational speaker in    
 schools and prisons.
