     Formed in 1986, Reading band The Heart Throbs consisted of sisters Rose
     Carlotti and Rachel DeFreitas, Stephen Ward and Mark Side. Rose and Rachel
     were sisters to the late Echo and the Bunnymen drummer Pete DeFreitas.
     Signed to OLI, they released their debut album Cleopatra Grip in 1990,
     following it with Jubilee Twist two years later. Their final record
     Vertical Smile was released in 1993 after a third change in the line-up.
     The Heart Throbs split shortly after.
